I don't believe the voice actor for Gaara changed. It's just that he's not gurgling his lines thru unhinged rage. The VA for Gaara in the beginning was losing his damn mind everytime being extra. Now that he's chill you don't like him, wow now that Gaara is sober you want him to fall off the wagon again. No respect for a character finally getting his ish together

Naruto begging makes sense. Sasuke is someone that he felt connected to because of how he too was an Orphan. Someone that would understand his pain more than the other kids in the village. The one's that know his pain are Iruka and Gaara and the other Jinjuriki. Iruka and Gaara aren't in the darkness and the other Jinjuriki are dead. Sasuke is the only one consumed by vengeance and is in the darkness. Naruto wants to save him and prevent others from going down that path. Him describing what vengeance can do to a person is what happened to Nagato and how he changed from the character in Jiraya's book to Pain. On the other hand the Raikage gave a needed talk to Naruto, reminding him of how the Shinobi World is and how cruel it can be especially when you're weak. In my opinion, him begging isn't a set back but an opportunity for him to grow even more as he fully realises that it's not going to be easy to stop the cycle of vengeance. Even more so coming from a Kage, someone that has the same status as Tsunade and look at the contrast between her and The Raikage. A great moment for character development put in by the Author.

THE SPEECH FROM THE RAIKAGE WAS A GOOD ONE NARUTO DOESN'T WANT THESE THINGS TO HAPPEN BUT AT THE SAME TIME THAT SPEECH WAS NEEDED FOR NARUTO. fuck off, sai was totally in the right to do so. he's an outside perspective on their relationship, he did what was needed he did the right thing of calling sakura on her bs, as well as having her realise the pain shes putting naruto thru, and that she needs to start taking action instead of relying solely on naruto. if she truly loves both naruto and sasuke then she should pursue them just as hard as they do for her.

Actually, the reason Naruto didn't react to Hinatas confession is explained in the only canon movie of the series (The Last). And to be honest, it was so well written into Naruto's character that people didn't understand why he didn't. Not revealing how the movie shows this, but Naruto doesn't know the difference between true love and the love he has for ramen. Remember he grew up without parents, siblings, ect. Without these early life connections and people treating him harshly, he never learned about true love. People could argue against this by bringing up his old crush on Sakura, but remember he went after her because she liked Sasuke and didn't want to lose to him. So Naruto wouldn't react to her confession because he saw this as her loving him as a friend, not actual love. Just wait til the movie, it's explained really well and I think all of y'all will love the ending.

Yeah Naruto had such a toxic attachment to Sasuke at this point. I remember it made me rly dislike the show when I was young. That and the entire female cast character development. It was so hard to get through. But at least it made the other parts of the show much better in comparison. Like the village politics and the Shinoni world. I wish the mangaka would've put more effort into world building than the whole Sasuke-Naruto dynamic.

I think it was implied that because of all the chaos of that day and the fact that Naruto went full nine tails just shortly after Hinata's confession that he didn't remember. Either that or didn't hear, as she did seem to say it more quietly then everything else she said up until that point. Either way, I don't think it just got ignored, though most people seem to think so. At any rate I like to give him the benefit of the doubt and think that for one reason or another, her confession just didn't register. I mean they WERE kind of in a crazy life or death fight. There was a lot going on. It probably all felt like a bit of a blur afterwards.

I don't think Gaara's tone changed drastically or anything since we last saw him... (I know his VA didn't change.) He does sound a little older, calmer, more controlled... but I've felt that since the beginning of Shippuden. It might just be that we barely saw him before the Akatsuki took him down. Though I guess, if it was intentional, they could have been going for an even more mature sound, now that he's literally come back from death.

The reason Naruto and Hinata aren’t together is because Naruto doesn’t understand what romantic love is. He doesn’t actually realize what Hinata said to him. The only reason he thinks he likes Sakura is because she liked Sasuke.

I don`t blame you guys you forgot .... it has explained during Hinata vs Neji in the chunin exams i think . During the time that a peace treaty between the Hidden Leaf and the Hidden Cloud was to be signed, Hiashi caused a international incident by killing a high ranking Cloud Ninja in the process of kidnapping a Hyuga child to obtain the Byakugan. The Cloud demanded Hiashi be handed over for execution, but Neji’s dad Hizashi, being a twin to Hiashi, surrendered himself in his place. And that is how Neji's father died instead of Hinata's dad

lmao "It's been over 300 episodes guys!" well actually since THAT moment, it hasn't. But almost. Also, it's been that long for the rest of us too and longer actually. It's been YEARS for us and we still remember. It was kind've a big part of Neji's whole identity? So how could we forget? If anything, we'd forget that it was the same village as the Raikage's because it was just "some other village" at the time and now they're villages we're coming to know. But yes, they tried to kidnap Hinata and her dad was to be offered up as sacrifice for killing the kidnappers to maintain the treaty. But Neji's dad died in Hinata's dad's place, only Neji thought it was by force when it was actually by choice. I don't know if you'll see this. But if you don't, at least you have literally 70% of the rest of the comments to remind you. lol

“The Hyuuga Incident” was what Neji explained to Naruto during their fight in the Chunin Exam finals. The Leaf and Cloud signed a peace treaty when Naruto’s Gen were all like 3 years old or so, but on the same night they signed the treaty the Cloud sent a Shinobi to kidnap Hinata. Hinata’s dad stopped him and killed him easily, but now they had a dead cloud Shinobi in the leaf village. The Cloud acted like they had done nothing wrong and the Leaf were the aggressors, and demanded a body for a body. So instead of the head of the Hyuuga clan main family sacrificing himself to avoid war, Neji’s dad, the head of the *branch* family, volunteered to take his place as his twin. All that to say, Yamato is flaming the Raikage for the Cloud getting away with literal murder and suffering no consequences.

Naruto's plea to the Raikage is complete nonsense. His entire argument was basically "pls don't kill sasuke he's my friend". He even tried to shoehorn Pain's cycle of hatred into the argument to justify not killing Sasuke, but who else in the Leaf besides Sakura is going to go to war over Sasuke ??? Everyone else acknowledges him as a criminal and he rightfully deserves to be executed for the things he's done. It's the equivalent of you throwing yourself in front of Vladimir Putin or some other world leader and asking him to suspend a foreign policy for a "friend". As someone who majored in Security and Foreign Policy, not only is it stupid, it's selfish and naive.

I mean... what EXACTLY Sasuke did so far? He killed Oroshimaru, what would make him a hero, not a war criminal, cause Oroshi was WAY worse to the ninja world. Then he killed Itachi, what again, would make him a hero, cause Itachi was an war criminal, as an akatsuki. The only real BAD act sasuke did so far was the attempt vs Killer Bee, and that was a failiure... sooo... I really dont think he need to be EXECUTED just by that.
