[Premium Access] Naruto Shippuden - Episode 200 - Uncut (Post 2/4)

“Shikamaru is so smart”, like bruh, that’s exactly what Naruto realized like 5 episodes ago and is been telling everybody about and begged the raikage so it wouldn’t escalate. But you only see it when Shikamaru points it out? I just can’t 🤦🏻‍♀️

Naruto begging makes sense. Sasuke is someone that he felt connected to because of how he too was an Orphan. Someone that would understand his pain more than the other kids in the village. The one's that know his pain are Iruka and Gaara and the other Jinjuriki. Iruka and Gaara aren't in the darkness and the other Jinjuriki are dead. Sasuke is the only one consumed by vengeance and is in the darkness. Naruto wants to save him and prevent others from going down that path. Him describing what vengeance can do to a person is what happened to Nagato and how he changed from the character in Jiraya's book to Pain. On the other hand the Raikage gave a needed talk to Naruto, reminding him of how the Shinobi World is and how cruel it can be especially when you're weak. In my opinion, him begging isn't a set back but an opportunity for him to grow even more as he fully realises that it's not going to be easy to stop the cycle of vengeance. Even more so coming from a Kage, someone that has the same status as Tsunade and look at the contrast between her and The Raikage. A great moment for character development put in by the Author.

No spoilers but it was heavily implied that Itachi killed Shisui. iirc those Uchihas said Itachi looked up to Shisui as a brother or something, then Itachi told Sasuke that to unlock Mangekyo you have to kill your best friend. Of course now we know that Danzo has Shisui's eye so that story has some wrinkles in it

Itachi was accused of killing Shisui by 3 other Uchihas it wasn't stated that he killed him.

The hyuga event Yamato mentioned was when the Cloud tried to kidnap Hinata but her dad killed the kidnappers and to avoid war the Cloud wanted Hiashi body so they could take his eyes. But His twin brother took his place instead cause when he would die the Byakugan would be sealed away
