Re: Zero is one of the few Isekai that the MC is not that special or does not have any power per se. Isekai is my favorite anime genre, I can't say I have watch them all, but the ones that I do I enjoy them. I have to say, Konosuba will always be my favorite. That is another one where the MC is completely powerless. Poor Kazuma has to deal with a bunch of useless people, LOL. Love that show.!!!

2021-03-18 15:56:42 +0000 UTCI agree with you, it would be wise to do a rewatch once they finish with the dubs. I did the same when it was finally announced that there was going to be a season 2. I had to rewatch season 1, not only because it was so long ago but also because I needed a better understanding. And sometimes I'm still a bit lost lol. I do watch it in sub though, I love the voice actor for Betelguese, he has an unique voice.

She doesn't quite get everything but she notices a lot that you should take note of. Honestly for this series it is very confusing and very detailed and it is best to do at least another rewatch to get a better understanding. Season 2 will give you so so so many more answers and questions about this world and the mysteries being given in season 1. If you guys ever have the time I suggest after you finish season 2 that you go back and do a rewatch because I guarantee you will connect so many dots and catch things you didn't the first time. But yeah subaru voice actor in the original along with the other voice actors put so much heart into this series. Not even just voice acting. They sing some of the music in this series. That is why people wanted you to continue with subs so much. You literally get an entirely different feeling from the original than you do the dubs. Either way you go you will be missing out on some things. So it would have been better for you to keep going with the subs but of course that isn't up to us which is quite sad but at least take the time to go back and watch it in sub at some point is all I can ask.

It's just how Puck views her in their relationship (which further on I won't get into more details not wanting to spoil), just as how he views Emilia as his (foster) daughter. Plus being both spirits is also another reason of their close relationship. Oh speaking of voice actors. Since I know some of you like Marketa likes Zelda. The Dub actor of Subaru (Sean Chiplock) is the guy who voiced Revali in Breath of the Wild. Plus the Dub actor of Hawk from MHA is also voicing a character from Season 2. As for typical Isekai's. The MC is usually overpowered and special with no to little character struggle or development. Re:Zero goes the opposite as you can see from his earlier struggles and suffering.
