2021-04-04 17:05:28 +0000 UTCI mean Jonas didn't kill his father. But kinda triggered it coz he brought the letter to Mikkel which made him write it before suicide. Claudia on the other hand pushed Egon and accidentally killed him.

However I think why more tend to be more sympathetic to Urich is because with MOST things he has done has had good intentions to save his children and attempt to prevent other children from being killed.(or so he thought it would prevent it from happening) Where as Hannah has been simply out for herself since the beginning. And pouring salt on people's pain and manipulating for her own agenda's. Preying on vulnerable people such a Egon. Hannah does portray a good villian. Great acting in this show.

2021-03-01 16:31:45 +0000 UTCI love the symmetry between this episode in the last. (Jonas/Claudia), with knowledge from the future, seeks to prevent their father's death and instead cause it. When they're at their lowest ebb, a (Claudia/Jonas) who they havent met yet appears, and takes them away.

2021-03-01 14:45:58 +0000 UTCAlso I believe the cancer comes from whatever radiation is coming from the caves - we know that Claudia has a crazy amount of radiation in her dead body and the dead birds with the white spots that were similar to those seen after Chernobyl. Egon may spent a lot of time investigating in that area and we also know that Regina would have been tied to the tree over night by Katarina and Ulrich as a teen.

2021-03-01 14:42:32 +0000 UTCThis is also up there as one of my favorite episodes!! The White Devil storyline was great to me. This season has given me a greater appreciation for Egon, who I originally disliked because of his prejudice against Ulrich. The lines delivered to him by Helge on how “she hasn’t even begun yet” and as well as the line from both Claudias a few eps ago on him being too good a person were both so chilling. And finally the “You are the White Devil” moment. I felt such sympathy for both Egon and Claudia in this situation and such great acting on both sides.
