the people complaining about this season clearly don't understand what this show is. if you want nothing but nonstop action, this isn't for you. I don't know how you've made it this far thinking everything has to be balls to the wall. The book series is essentially 3 separate trilogies. The reason season 3 was so fast paced was because they needed to fit an entire book into 6 episodes in order to wrap up that first trilogy. that kind of condensing and rushing of the story is not where I want this show to go. if that's what you want, go watch season 8 of GoT.

Still enjoying the show (much more than S4) but wish they kept the pace of Season 3, if S5 was written like S3 the final episode twist would have happened mid-season, could have definitely condensed a lot of the action - and I agree that it felt like a lot of characters spent a lot of time floating in spaceships or walking.

Especially in terms of characterization... That being said. The Alex character definitely deserved better. Bull has some big shoes to fill. - Mikey, you and i both have the exact same opinions on the character of Marco Inaros haha love you brotha. Never change. Glad you said what you said about him throughout this season. - Thank you so much for these Expanse reactions guys. It's been a blast!

2021-02-07 15:43:36 +0000 UTCI kinda understand, but to me Oksana kinda betrayed Drummer. Drummer, as she said, just played nice after they killed 2 of here friends, one who was THE belter. And then when she thought Naomi was dead she even still was gonna go along with it. But then when she finds out one of her friends are alive you want her to be okay with killing them? At this point, she's supposed to lose three people important to her and act happy for Oksana's sake and Oksana is like "her or us"... but in contrast they lose one and it's such a betrayal. I also find it incredibly selfish for Oksana to try and manage Drummers emotions as if she shouldn't be allowed to feel what she feels about her friends being killed. Oksana has the right to leave, but imo she was hella annoying for the way she was acting before hand.

They lost a lot of ships in the war, have a bunch backlogged for repairs, and Duarte just took a lot of new constructions through the ring, plus what they gave to Marco. The MCRN is severely hobbled.

2021-02-06 18:59:58 +0000 UTCFrom drummer's crew's perspective, drummer sacrificed one of her own crew and risked the lives of the rest, in order to save her friend's boyfriend's crew - people who they had never met and aren't even belters. It was a huge betrayal and that's why oksana left.

2021-02-06 05:13:59 +0000 UTCWell, one shot killed the Destroyer and a second shot was made to be 100% sure. You can see the first shot tear through the command deck and the power immediately starts shutting down, then the second shot causes an internal explosion.

Josef fired the missiles at the second Inaros ship, specifically the heavy frigate (the most powerful of the ships in that fight, it would have EASILY killed the Roci). That’s why he said ‘what we should have done from the beginning’ as in fight against Marco instead of joining him. After distracting the heavy frigate’s defense cannons, the Roci was able to kill that ship with the railgun.

The answer is that Bobbie and Naomi's space suits are touching so the sound is traveling through the suits, that's why the words sound muffled. Naomi and Holden did the same thing in season two putting their helmets together so they could talk without using the radio.
