I think it's perfectly reasonable even if Light's dad did actually intend to kill him and then himself. Because if your son was murdering people around the world left and right with magical powers, you're the parent of that monster and SHOULD take responsibility. It doesn't mean that he would like it. He would just do it because he had to. And he'd have to be absolutely sure first, since it's his son and he'd be skeptical to believe it unless it was completely shoved in his face beyond being confirmed to him. And then he would kill himself because he wouldn't be able to live with his son being kira or the fact that he had to take him out.

Yeah it’s annoying how they criticize stuff that’s already been explained in the show. And their all still hung up on how L is commiting “human right violations” by imprisoning Light and Miss not realizing that’s what it takes to catch someone as dangerous as Kira.

So ya'll already forget that last episode they mentioned taking misa to the bathroom? Lol yall memories that poor? when they were imprisoned they still got food and escorted to the bathroom when they need to

After Chris said, "And they're all cops," I imagined the "The more you know" graphic popped up and made myself chuckle quite a bit. (It's 3AM.) A few things I am looking forward to in the coming weeks: Everyone's reactions to the beginning of episode 20. What Death Note inspired polls there may be. Will any of the crew be able to CORRECTLY figure out who is the new Kira? My fave moment of the entire story (both in the manga AND the anime.)

I usually always agree with Nahid on most things but I just don’t understand why he hates L so much lol. L is weird but he’s 100% correct about Light, and Light as Kira is a horrible person
