I 100% agree with all the points Suraj made. Octavia ending the war by giving a motivational speech is so unbelievable. The Disciples should have no reason to listen to her, did we forget that her, Echo killed so many disciples in the last few days, including many just hours ago? The mechanics of the test made no sense. So they transcended because they didn't fight in this one specific very narrow scenario and they get to transcend eventhough they had been slaughtering each other just hours ago? Like Suraj, I get the ideas they were going for but the execution was off.

i mean everyone’s opinion is subjective so i would take that with a grain of salt. some people hated the show because they’re favorite character died, but mine didn’t and i loved the show and it’s message. it’s honestly one of my favorite shows.

i thought it was a really good finale. i think it blows Lost out of the water, i liked that finale though. the whole creating another alternate dimension was silly, but i always appreciate fan service. anyways the 100 was a great ride, lived up to my expectations. bellamy stuff stings but i eventually got over it

Well after I watched 100 episodes (MULTIPLE TIMES)all I can say about it is:Its a good show with great actors and a good story(at least the first 5 seasons). I had a good time with this show and I won't forget that.My review is:First book( which ends in season 5) is going to get a solid 8.It has ups and downs but first book is great.The second book is up to a 5.8 in my opinion.For the whole show I think its up to 7.It could have been better but it also could have been worse.Anyway tank you The Normies for reacting to this and may we meet again.But I wouldn't watch this again. My thoughts on the finale: I totally agree with Marketa in that I was very surprised to how much I’ve grown to love Murphy and Emori. I think their chemistry and acting was knocked out of the park. The thing I hated the most/had the biggest problem with: the premise of the god damn season.. I feel like I’m left with more questions than answers. So, an eternal happy after life is only given to a fraction of the human race.. and for what? The human race deserves... not to go on living? Because of constant internal conflict? ..But the test was to see if we could stop doing it momentarily... in order to transcend into an afterlife, instead of going on to fight and die and cease to exist like we always have been? Is there something I’m missing.. I mean, like, what the fuck? And was the transcendence test going to solely be based on the interview the celestial being was giving before Clark fucked it up and we had to physically show them? I am fiercely annoyed with the ending. But I enjoyed the show up until that point as a 7/10. So. I’m going to stick with that.

The amount of discussion that this show provokes is what makes it so great imo. Not to mention the great characters and out of the box storytelling. Had me hooked episode 1, I fell off in the beginning of Season 4, then I rewatched it all and loved it. Amazing show, definitely my favorite

Nice surprise to see this! I usually say too much in the discussion thread so I’ll try not to this time. I just want to conclude this finale reaction and say that the story writing and the concept of this show is phenomenal. The execution aren’t always perfect and can be cheesy at times but god, I could talk about my thoughts and interpretation behind the ending alone for hours. So much discussion to be had with this show. Really glad you guys enjoyed it for the most part!

I thought the last episode was rushed but the only scene that got to me was Murphy and emori with all the shitty writing im glad they didn't ruin Murphy's character this season and in overall the whole series. The other scene im happy with is the fact that the others came back to stay with Clarke but bellamy should've been there. My dream ending was everyone meets again because everyone who died said may we meet again and it would've been the best to see all of the characters together like Lincoln or the REAL lexa or bellamy or jasper and monty etc

First to each their own. First of all it wasn't out of nowhere, it was hinted throughout the whole of season 7. And parts of s6. This beings were just a means in order for the characters to face what they have done in the best. I'm not gonna argue with you. This just opinion. This is mine and you have yours. Well said C Note. After everything was said and done, Octavia ended up being the most fleshed out character. A case can be made for Murphy as well in terms of characterization. Hope to see Marie in other works in the near future. Brilliant actor. Although it's gonna be very hard to top the role she had as Octavia lol

Episode 13 imo was one of the weakest of the series, so I was so glad they brought the story back to a point where I was actually pretty happy with the ending (yes ik transcendence seems kind of dumb but if you think about it in show logic instead of our logic you can see how it comes about). Forever my favorite show, I love all the characters and I will always miss the feelings I got from it. May we meet again!!

I have to say what a performance by Marie Avergerpolous throughout this show, she honestly deserves the spot as one of my if not my favourite character in TV history. She has had one of the best developments I have seen in TV history.  It has been a honour to watch her character development over the seasons, it was a pleasure to watch. She owns all her scenes, she got peace in the end and I am so happy about that she got some form of happiness. From the girl under the floor to Indra's second to Skairipa ( Death from above) to Bloodreina to Being called by the anomaly and Redemption, Aunty O to finally having a great part in saving the entire human race from being wiped out. It was her calling to save the human race. Her arc is incredible and inspiring. How this show managed to make me love and relate to a character in a post apocalyptic world so much, I don't know. I'm gonna miss her character but alas all good things must come to an end. This was a great thing.
