lol this is why you can't take a couple months break from watching Deathnote because it's easy to forget little details and then you just end up having meaningless questions/discussions about things already established in the very first episode. It's understandable to forget that given you're guys format for reactions. I would highly recommended you guys re-watch your own reactions to episodes 1 & 2, you don't need to watch the full episodes just your own reactions, it would only take 20 minutes the most, because I honestly think it would clear up a lot of confusion since they do set up a lot of rules and important information. I get you guys haven't watched the series in a couple months but as a viewer it is a little frustrating to watch you contemplate ideas and theories to stuff that was already literally established just 2 episodes ago. No hate, no shade, love your reactions, just trying to help make the discussions more relevant.

Not for names Light writes in it. Even though that notebook used to be Ryuk's or the criminal touched it, it's Light's now. GREAT REACTION GUYS! Great you guys caught his whole runthrough of the kill. This show is very heavy on the dialogue and it really helps to follow their strategies and motivation. Loving how much y'all are into this show. Glad it was picked up!

To Nahid, in Japan, the concept of shonen is becoming much vague now. Some shows are labeled as shonen simply because they are published on "Shonen Jump" Magazine. Of course, I do not want to jump into an argument of whether this show is shonen or not because it is pointless. But if you are an anime fan and has watched a decent amount of shows. You just don't care about it no more.

That’s a fairly interesting way to look at it. I feel many people would be slightly less inclined to use the Death Note than the Good Note for obvious reasons (death is fkn death). The Good Note would be something many of us would be tempted to use on the assholes and monsters of modern day society, but you’re right - it all boils down to playing God and enforcing your will on others and that is ‘morally’ wrong no matter what it is you’re making them do, even being ‘good’... I’d probably still use the Good Book though, if I’m being honest. I’m not the most moral person around, and if it achieves results...

They don't say it in the show, but there is a rule that the death note will never run out of pages. Also, they showed in the pilot that Ryuk has the other death note because he tells light that he will write Light's name in it when he dies
