I do not know, if anybody else said this, but no the manga does have the chimera arch. The hunter x hunter you guys are watching is all in accordance with the manga, this episode is 337 in the manga of hunter x hunter. And currently the manga is up to 390 and Nahid nope luckily the manga or the show was not "game of throned".

I like that only in the final episode they explain the real need for hunters to exist in this society. The fact that the known world is so small, and things like quimera ants are out there, I can imagine why this world would create organizations like the hunter association.

First of all, english is not my native language so if my grammar is fucked up, Im sorry. Quick edit: of course if you want to support Togashi and HxH, you should buy the official manga volumes I Have been following you since dragon ball super came out and have never suscribe on patreon, but since you started the Chimera Ant Arc I did it and I do not regret it at all, it was awesone watching you watch my favourite anime. Just like you, I never read manga before, but ass soon as I finished HxH Anime, I went to read the manga and let me tell you, is awesone, but if you plan to read it you should find a way to make it entertaining because watching a video of some guy reading manga is usually not that fun. As for the Hiatus pf the manga, it is tru that Togashi has a fame for being extremely lazy in top of his healt condition, but there are rumors that if something happens to him, and he cant continue with HxH, his wife Naoko Takeuchi, wich is the creator of salir moon and his wife, she could continue HxH because she is aware of his husband style and it seems that she knows how the story continues. Fun fact, in the first volume of the manga, there is a dedication from Togashi to Naoko, here: https://twitter.com/fals1fy/status/969236518824005632 Also, I think you should watch a youtube video from Aleczandxr called "The morality of Gon Freecss" it is super interesting as he reviews Gon's character development in a super awesone way. And of course, you should watch HxH movies BUT take in account that they are not cannon, so they are not THAT awesone but they are entertaining, take them as the old DBZ movies. So, thank you for watching and enjoing this anime, and again, find a way to make the manga reading entertaining, and also, I hope you enjoy THAT FIGHT that happens in the manga( I think that you already knows who fights, is all over the internet). the "fake troupe guy" they fought in prison was actually the guy that teased and knocked out gyro in the black and white flashback we get. as for the manga, i usually don't read it, but hxh was an exception, a lot of crazy shit happens and we don't really see gon or killua anymore. and there is so much more left because i feel like the story is not even close to being finished. sadly very few chapters are being released cause it's constantly on hiatus, and im just hoping sometime in the future we get the story finished, and an anime adaptation that it deserves. only when i rewatched the show could i truly appreciate how good it really is!
