i saw the first episode and just never followed up with it. i prefer the tv series "tribe" same concept but scripted and the kids are teens so it worked better for me. guess im just not into little kids. flashbacks to when i worked in daycare *(shivers in horror)

I have no idea what I just watched, but it was amazing. I am now fully on Team Green and by the time I reach the end of the show there had better be a bloody coup which results in Mike being exiled east of Eden to the Land of Nod, or I’m going to be really pissed off

And this was a half-troll reaction request and half real because of the crazy lore that exists behind this show because this can't possibly exist anymore in any capacity. This show was a one and done thing and it's fascinating that it ever existed at all, and it's furthermore fascinating how it worked. I've seen the full series multiple times. Hopefully you guys finish it whether on or off camera. ALSO I made a kid tier list and it's somewhere in non-listed spoilers in the discord LOL.

OK a bunch of things. Yes, most of the stuff was left to the kids on their own. Production would find out the gold star winner the day before and rush a camera crew out to the parents' house but not tell them what was going on. Yes, the show was mired in lawsuits after the fact for a variety of reasons from kids who drank bleach to kids who got oil burns, etc. Michael did an AMA on reddit about the show. On youtube, this show has had a recent resurgence. Jontron made a video on the first episode and interviewed Jimmy, Funny or Die has a series on it, a streamer on twitch called ConnorEatsPants did reactions to the whole series. A youtuber called The Eric Barber has recently done a ton of interviews this year of all the kids now as grown ups. Multiple of the kids have youtube channels.
