Mate they have roughly 250+ canon episodes left. You really want this reaction to last 5 years? Nahid and Rana are watching fillers on their own and that's cool. I'd rather have the main crew focused on canon stuff instead of forcing them to watch something they don't care about.

I do think you guys should watch some of the fillers for Shippuden because while they aren't necessarily good they are better than part 1 fillers. But you guys seem to like the show enough to be able to sit through the fillers and not be bothered by them.

Suraj’s mind has been ruined by hardcore Naruto fans.... It’s only called filler because it fills in time for the show. In Naruto shippuden case, it was so the anime wouldn’t catch up to the manga. Suraj NOT EVERY filler (especially in shippuden) is bad and irrelevant. Yes some are completely one off/self contained stories made by the studio that don’t affect the Naruto plot at all so no need to watch them. But some fillers are good and based off: Naruto novels, extra chapters of the manga. Some are made to provide backstory for certain characters we already know of or for those characters coming up in a new canon arc. Some are based on the all Jinchūriki and their story that never get expanded on in canon material. They really aren’t all irrelevant and a waste of time. And btw ppl not saying they should watch them as it shows up but once they finish shippuden at least

unfortunately for me I went through most of shippuden not understanding filler v canon and looking back I quit on damn near every filler arc...they trash imo

For those of you skipping the fillers the only thing your really missing is actually seeing Chiriku fight. If I recall that never happens in the OG and you get more emphasis on the 12 guardians.

Suraj perception of fillers I will never understand. They expand the universe and yeah some stories are self contained, but they still make things interesting. That's a weird take IMO. If you like something, you often want to see more of it. Sure some filler are just not good, but most of Naruto fillers are pretty nice. I dunno, I feel he rejects fillers way too hard, like he tries to resist temptation of watching them.

The fillers are show-canon, but they're also show-filler, meaning besides the fact that they're not from the manga, they're also literal filler even as far as the show's main-story advancement is concerned... everything Nahid mentioned about the Guardian 12 that's relevant to the main story is explained again in this arc.
