Anyone else think they should just skip to 73 after watching 55 and 56? There isn't anything major that happens in 71 or 72 that isn't explained in 73. And 73 feels more natural transition from 56.

I think I get their taste in anime openings.... I didnt really like blue bird as much as most people did... i mean its just "ok" for me.. I'd definitely choose op 9 over blue bird any day... but op 16, 6, and 7 are legendary, so im pretty sure they're gonna like those

So if he has then I'm guessing he knows that 55 and 56 are important and not filler, and that the Normies should definitely see the last half of episode 71 no matter what they do. Am I wrong?

I believe that they mentioned they are looking at the official anime filler list to see what episodes of Naruto they can skip. That list does have 55 and 56 as canon and mixed canon, so I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing those episodes next week, and skipping the filler arc. I do agree that they should watch like the last half of 71 because have some important information but in all honesty I'd be okay if they just did that on their own, so they could just jump into episodes 72 and 73 the week after

At least we have Rana and Nahid for fillers! personally I hope they all watch the fillers about the tailed beast and their hosts. Since they don’t get expanded on in canon material. I thought those fillers were pretty good, some sad. The fillers in shippuden are definitely way better than OG Naruto so I agree!
