2020-08-14 14:56:47 +0000 UTCThe scene with Mack and the Chronicoms in the hangar was actually a callback to the Season 1, Episode 2 moment that takes place at 13 minutes and 3 seconds into the episode when Grant Ward uses the exact same weapon. The scene with Ward, however, is definitely an homage from Joss Whedon to his previous work.
