Those flash cut scenes really do hit you in the feels, I think for me it’s cause the musical score they used was a reprise of Crossing into Darkness, which was used at the end of Maveth (3x10). Just an amazing score this whole show but especially these last few seasons....

Coulson's speech to Daisy is one of my favorite moments of the show. He's such a company man and its so heartwarming lol. Just like his news anchor moment in season 4, Coulson believes 100% in the idea of SHIELD and isn't shy about it. Clark Gregg and all of the associated Marvel heads have done a spectacular job fleshing out a character that started as a cameo in Iron Man 1.

I'm not a Whovian but I saw a comment on another reaction that the plot of this episode is strikingly similar to a Doctor Who episode? Something about a portal, a wedding, and discovering long lost relatives. Pretty fitting considering this show loves easter eggs and Fitzsimmons are both Whovians in the show. Allons-y! FitzSimmons is life!!!! I was starting to like Deke even before he made his sacrifice. Then they added FitzSimmons DNA and my love grew!! Fun fact Dove Cameron (Ruby) voices an iteration of Spider Gwen, she was also in an episode of Shameless!

When this first aired I wasnt to happy with the lack of action on the 100th episode and guest stars from last seasons but then I rewatched it that same night lol and LOVEEED IT! It’s a very different 100th more emotional than many AND That scene where Mike tries to trick Couslon always hits me in all the feels especially with the quick cuts of memories from passed seasons! I’m getting goose bumps thinking about it
