2019-11-29 01:16:13 +0000 UTCMy head cannon regarding the MIB being stuck as Locke has always been that they showed everyone Locke’s corpse - made a point of doing so and it’s the only time in the series that it was revealed to other characters (Christian and Yemi’s bodies disappeared prior to the monster’s appearance as them). The series obviously throws it out as a rule to avoid MIB constantly changing (which would have been cool but offered almost too great a challenge for any of the characters to overcome(

Want an answer? Season 1’s ‘numbers’ - they laid it all out from the get go.

2019-11-26 22:24:47 +0000 UTCMakes sense why those 6 numbers had to always be typed in exactly, aside from averting the explosion, the most worthy candidates on the plane had been marked with these numbers, and I guess the rest of the plane was ultimately collateral damage that Jacob was okay with as long as the people he wanted, got to the Island.
