Personally i'd be ok with them skipping it and then coming back to react to it after they finish this season. Because like you said, it completely takes you out of the current arc.

Just a heads up the next episode is set up for the movie which I personally wouldn't mind seeing a reaction to. But it does take you out of the current arc if you want to skip it. ( Not sure if the normies already reacted to the movie and I just missed it)

Naw its actually a good episode. Also they dont skip anything. Not even filler... they're watching all of naruto and that show actually has skippable filler. This show has filled that ties into the movie.

So...talking about the episode, it's great the first actor give them pointers to how to proceed in the exam, they could have just let them go blind and fail by their actions ! In the end, they want to examine if they have what it takes to save lives, divide work to do it and coordonate with other hero to do so...I love those exam episode ! Also Gang Orca looks very badass, althought i'm not sure if its some of his sidekick around him or actors ?
