I was sleep on this anime for a long time but I can admit that this show has one of the best starts. what i mean by that is their first season is of legendary ilk and its easy to see it has great potential! I'd recommend watching this show & to anyone who might be doubting the show like i did it starts off corny as far as the family slaughter sht but as the show progresses it starts to excel the backstory if that makes sense

The whole time I was watching this I kept thinking "the normies would love this art style". The fight scenes are batshit crazy. I'm sure your schedule is jam packed, but the show only gets better as the season progresses. the first few episodes are a bit slower but its still GREAT. Also- They're airing the dub on Toonami but you need a cable sub to watch it.

as an hardcore anime viewer been watching since 2011/12 i am currently 22, i have seen so many animes, from eureka 7 to code geas, from bleach to one piece, Gintama (under rated + funny af and great actions scenes) to samurai champloo (rip nujabes), from naruto to boruto (occasionally) i have seen so many. my point being death note is decent however only in terms of suspense. demon slayer imo is the better anime in terms of emotion, action and animation. demon slayer gives me my hero vibes in the sense of potiential to be a great anime like Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood (my fav anime of all time) and like angel beats, guilty crown, bakuman(manga anime), haiykuu(volleyball). be open minded peeps and dont shit on certain anime just because you dont like it. be better.

Death Note is great, although it is not for everyone. Especialy those who prefer bright action. However Death Note has such a thriling plot line and universe that it is amazing on its own right. I don't mind them watching Demon Slayer, for casuals its fantastic and for hardcore anime viewers its a glorified trash anime. Much like SAO, Re:Zero, and Goblin Slayer. People simply hop on the bandwagon.

Saying they didn’t have an actual story is just shitting on all the mangakas who wrote those stories. They’re not 90% filler and not unwatchable as an adult. Yeah there’s a decent amount of filler and that’s just because of the time those shows came out, seasonal formatting wasn’t the norm for shonens.

"The greats" are 90% filler, and totally unwatchable as an adult without a guide telling you which of the hundreds of episodes to skip. They were primarily marketing platforms for kids' merchandise, same as 80s cartoons in the west. You're basically sitting through hundreds of hours of low-budget toy commercials. Demon Slayer is an actual story, told start to finish.
