I guess it's just the nature of reaction videos but the way people expect you to react to episodes in the exact same way they did makes no sense to me. Isn't the whole point to watch the show from someone else's perspective? Oh well, keep it up normies.

ah, Gon's potential.... I was just watching a different reactor, they are a ways farther episode-wise than the normies. Just watched them see Gon's potential, wonder what the normies will make of that episode.

I think it's very important to remember, Gon and Killua are literally kids, and not only in character but also experience. Are they both prodigious talents, with high pedigree? Yes. But just like they improved in every area massively during Greed Island (that time Bisky had them fight Binolt the scissor guy, who to her was nothing yet it took both of them days to get on his level even with a handicap) they're still far behind "real" experienced Hunters like Knuckle and Shoot. And even farther behind real big shots like Morel and Knov. They've both got basically incomplete Hatsus as well that still need a lot of work, and their aura capacity and usage is still subpar. They've both got insane potential, but that's it. Still kids, even if they're pretty badass already. They need years of experience to match up to the real pros.

Just to reiterate, Killua knocking Gon out was the right and only thing to do in that situation. There is just no way they could've beat Pitou, the only thing they would've done is get in Kite's way and then all 3 of them would've died. That being said what Bisky said here needed to be said because you're never gonna grow if you don't challenge yourself. And given the challenges Gon and Killua might find themselves in the future, running should be an option but only as a last resort which isn't the case for Killua where it seems it's the first thing on his mind.

Killua and Gon can't compete against any of these high level hunters in this arc; they're so outclassed compared to their allies and even their allies are outclassed against the Royal Guards. Killua wouldn't be able to kill Knuckle lol

I’m not really getting what they did that was so bad in this reaction. Nahid is explained to Micky why he thinks the episode is necessary and only Micky seemed to think it was unnecessary. They all seemed to have enjoyed the episode and didn’t seem to miss anything majorly important then complained it wasn’t explained well like they have in other reactions.

That's the problem when we got so used by the others shounen's, HxH is by far different in some aspects, the pacing building is slow but well writing, and if you guys watch it without a due attention, you miss a lot of things and that could disturb the understanding. I understand you guys have so much another things to watch, maybe if Suraj would keep doing the notes he was doing? You guys will need that here

For the most part, when people react to these two episodes it is completely different from how I reacted when I watched maybe it's because I love when fights are explained and somewhat dialogue-heavy not that I don't love Dragonball Z type of action but fights that have a lot of thought behind has become my preference as I've watched more anime. I agree though you do need patience I lot of people I know in real life stopped watching hxh when the chimera ant arc began because they had no patience.

This is a great show but you need patience. This isn’t a show that bombards you with instant gratification and entertainment, and that is a good thing for what hxh wants to do.

Well in retrospect, you dont realize how important this part of the arc is until later when it refers back constantly to it.

Killua was taught to fight like an assassin. Have all odds on your side, if not, run away. He was taught to always imagine the worst case scenario and thus, if he's confronted by a fight where he should run and leave Gon behind ,that is what his training and instinct will push him to do. That is why Bisky told him that. That is also why he will need mental fortitude to break this "curse", because it goes against everything he knows.
