Geez...lighten up Matthew. If you are that butt hurt, just cancel and move on! Reacting to as many shows as they do is A LOT of work and they are very clear with their schedule.

You paid $10 a month to get access to reactions for 6ish episodes beyond what YouTube/$5 tier has access to. Read the tier description "we're several weeks ahead, depending on the show." They (much like almost every reaction channel in existence) have a weekly release schedule for reactions, they even post what episodes are going up each day of any given week on Mondays. It's on you if you can't figure that out.

What even is your complaint? Did you not understand how this works? They release a reaction a week for each of the shows they watch (I think 2 for some shows with short episodes). This has never been any sort of secret. You really need to get your own stuff together if you couldn't grasp this coming in.

So i paid 10 dollars a month for you not to have finished the series yet? You guys need to get your stuff together. I paid so i can watch your reactions to the end of lost and breaking bad, yet you don't have the discipline or appreciation of your fans to finish the series that made us care about your channel in the first place? when the month ends consider that 10 bucks gone. Doubt you care based off of these lazy money sucking tactics. I love you guys so sorry if this comes off harsh but i'm truly disappointed.

I think Daniel went nuts with grief and optimism. He thought he could have some agency and change the future. He had to have that kind of self-delusion in order to live on and make it another day. His free will is bound to a construct of destiny bigger than humanity itself. But maybe he understood that choices also have play within the quantum system of events. He wants to find out what happens when you push it all the way, the opposite way, as a variable of free will against the limit of the function of destiny. Daniel wants to create a Paradox.

The real danger isn't the hydrogen bomb. It's people exploiting the Island for their own purposes. So Daniel was the "variable" who's planning to disrupt Dharma's operation which is getting closer and closer to unlocking the Island's power. The bomb is a necessary evil to prevent an even larger threat (Dharma's island experiments) and that's why Daniel's mother sent him to fulfill his purpose.

The variable explanation to me has always been “Dan’s gone nuts with grief, he’s forgotten his own rules” People’s actions are already part of events and those events/time are far greater than those individuals. Now, if he had said the island was the variable - or thrown in the possibility that they who are travelling could experience the change (ie parallel universes), then that would have made it more plausible. Still, an incredibly exciting episode

I LOVE the reveal (though it’s still pretty subtle in this episode) that Eloise only “knows everything” because she obtained Daniel’s diary - which contained all of the notations about Desmond, and is why by the end of this episode she admits she no longer knows what will happen next as the events of the diary are now complete.
