Most fans refer to Neferpitou as a "she", but you aren't really wrong either way. Some people argue if Chimera Ants can be female aside from the queen, and I always point out Zazan. My point is, call Pitou whatever you want, but most fans agree she is female.

Pitou was always referred to with male pronouns in the manga from what I recall. I could be wrong it been a while just wanted to know where it is stated that all the Chimera Ants are genderless.

I hope someone will let them know his/her gender is left ambiguous and neither pronoun is wrong.

Pitou took Kites arm off and Kite was already aware of the danger, I think it's kinda insane to automatically believe our main characters are stronger than everyone else without proof.

But as they are ants WITH human aspects, i think you can say the cat is a SHE. There is the facto that japanese words dont have pronoms to man and girl, so Its hard sometimes for the subtitles to get right in the sex topic
