The music to the under water kiss in 21:21 is the music from the Romeo and Juliet scene when they where kissing under water too. And remember Isak saw that movie when he heard Even in the interview on internet, saying that Baz Lurmen was his favorite movie director. And we got to see his computer playing the under water scene and Isak had a tear falling down his skin.Also from earlier, the music from when Even was walking over the schoolyard and Isak spaced out looking at him, then annoying Emma came and ruining everything... the music they played when Isak looked at Even is also a song from Romeo and Juliet witch you can mirroring those scenes a bit.😊

That Sana Isak conversation always breaks my heart because I love them both and they are so much on the defensive that they word things in really hurtful ways when that's not what they really mean, they aren't able to really communicate when really they could probably both use each other's support.

Yes, and remember when we see Noora this season almost everything in some kind of way is mirroring Isaks feelings, mindset, situation. Isaks father also left him and his mother last year, in season 1. And Isak is feeling betrayed of his father and left alone in a situation a child never should be left in, with the responsibility for his mother when he is in a very vulnerable situation where he should have had someone to take care of him not feel that he should be taking care of his mother. And him being left with the feeling that his father didn't came back so he did not love his mum or him enough ref. Eskilds word to Noora. This story having so many sad elements in it. And a person I really hate in Skam is Isaks dad.😢

I love this ep so much. Loving the reactions! This season is full of small details that mean something, thats why I love it so much. It had such a different dynamic to the previous two. Can't wait to watch all of you connect the dots eventually ;)

I'm not sure if you all remember that in season 1 when Eva was going to confront Isak about betraying her trust Jonas opened her the door instead and told her that Isak's mom had a mental break down and he wasn't doing well in that moment. So yeah, it's not that she's 'terrible', she is mentally ill.

Every words in this season has meaning though. Even when Eskild tried to encourage Noora that if someone loves you so much he would leave his wife and kid to be with her. That seemed to be In Isak’s mind also. That was why he was a bit disappointed when Even sent message back, saying that he had to be with Sonja.

you are right about norway in general being pretty accepting, but there's more as to why he's not coming out too. like you mentioned, his religious mother and his friends talking about girls seemingly 24/7, but they've also made gay jokes (ex. "are you totally gay or what?" when saying no to going to emma's pre-party, and more). he also seems to have trouble accepting himself, and so saying it to other people is really hard when you can barely accept it for yourself...

about their ages, even is born 97, same as william, and should thus have graduated high school back in june just like william did (hence why he was working in london, not going to school), that's why isak was surprised he was born 97 because seniors should now be 98s, and isak is in 2nd year (99s), he thought even was 1 year older than him but he's actually 2 years older. emma is one of the new 1st years in school, so 1 year younger than isak. to sum it up: isak is in 2nd year and 17 years old, emma is in 1st year and is 16 years old, and even is in 3rd year (last year of hs) and is 19 (but everyone else in 3rd year is 18, so he either started school late or had to re-take year 3, we don't know anything about it yet)

Ah shit you dropped it early, I could've have watched it hours ago :P There's so much meaning behind 21:21, one example is the religious aspect vs homosexuality throughout the season; in the bible Genesis 21 is "The Birth of Isaac" so when Isak has his first real kiss underwater and reemerge through the water, the symbolism represents his rebirth. Also Proverb 21:21 "Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor." And there's more later on :) There's so much symbolism and parallels this season that you won't catch all until several rewatches. And then all the Romeo + Juliet things. Can't wait for 3x05!!!

Great reaction!😊❤️ When the clip 21:21 was released, all of the SKAM fans was speculating about the meaning behind 21:21, there are several symbols/meanings about those numbers. And, in Norway "locker" is the same word as "closet". So you can figure it out for yourself, if you wish 😆
