I also think it’s fair to say that this show is objectively better than the dragon ball franchise especially super which they watched aswell. So... anyone who has watched both disagree with me on that?

Imo this show is great and entertaining but I see how people might not like it. Personally think the show is great because of ban backstory. Meliodas “training episode” is just amazing and beautiful and also praise the sun. Main reasons too watch show. Plus the character interactions are great.

They dont produce any of it. Not sure why netflix claims it as an original

Can’t wait for Ban to show up, that’s when the show got me hooked. The first few episodes aren’t really that great on the first watch. Especially if you don’t like Meliodas.

At least we don't have to deal with the one that makes jokes constantly and the one that falls asleep all the time. If they make it to season 2 that is when I think they will actually enjoy themselves and it will be enjoyable to watch them react to it.

Glad you four will continue with this show is it the best ever no but it is an extremely fun ride yes so I think it you've enjoyed it up till episode 6 you'll only love it more as it goes along but also besides meliodas there's other great characters so just stick it out and you'll be rewarded

In my opinion the dub for SDS is actually pretty good. Though I do prefer the subs and would agree that you should try it out to see if you like it any better, I still think you're being a bit hard on the dub as I personally think it's pretty good and I love Bryce Papenbrook as Meliodas and Eren from AOT...and kirito from SAO though I preferred the subs overall for those shows lmao. (Fun fact. I prefer season 1 of AOT and season 1 of SAO in dub over sub. Wait...no one cared? Oh...*sighs*)

Being someone who knows what happens in this show, looking back on the first part is pretty funny. I forgot how many mysterious they set up lol. Seeing Gil seriously try and fight them is hilarious. Then when Mickey and Rana asked "do they age" just got me excited for all the information drops that will happen.

I have said it before..... i dunno what happened behind the scenes, but the first season isn't very good.... but the next two are pretty damn good! Not as good as other animes, but it has some amazing anime moments, and yeah Meliodas is bland, but the cast fleshes out with more interesting characters. Meliodas is certainly not my favorite character in the series.

I really enjoyed season 1 of this and was pumped for more... BUT "season 2" on Netflix is just ova trash. Ruined it for me. The real s2 (or s3 I guess) is jam packed with fights and looks worth a chance. If you guys can enjoy DBS, then this will get better with time. The fights are WELL animated.

If you like storytelling, or romantic tragedies, or characters with an interesting psychology, you will end up liking this show by the end. There is a reason for literally everything that happens, and even very specific phrases like, "I am now more powerful than any of the Seven Deadly Sins" carry a weight that will not be made known until later in the show for reasons that will never appear obvious. Stick with it and by the time you hit season 2, you'll be wanting more.

The second half of this season is great and season two is just WOW.

As someone who has read the manga, there's a reason for everything going on. But yes this is the worst part of the show, it gets better, ALOT better. Especially when we meet more characters.
