Filler episodes: 97, 99,101-106 and 136-219 Canon episodes left: 89-96,98, 100, 107-135, the latter of episode 220. Suggestions: episode 101 is the Kakashi mask episode that you heard about. It's the equivalent of Goku and Piccolo getting their driver's licenses. it's a must watch. Filler Episodes are 97 and 99 are decent to watch. They're fun and won't bore you. Episodes 102- 106 is a single story arc and only shows up once in a flashback in the next episode. Might leave you confused if you skip this to get to the canon though. Up to you. Episodes 135-219. There's very little canon there and almost nothing worth watching it for. I do suggest watching the last filler arc as it ends on a canon episode or else you'll be a little confused that the last canon episode's first half is the end of a filler arc. It's a good filler arc too. It goes from episodes 216-220. And then you're done with Naruto and onto Naruto Shippuden.

No the filler are 97, 99, 102-106 then it goes back to the canon episode from 107-135 after that most are all filler after episode 135 you can watch the filler episodes 136-219 on your own or skip start to Naruto Shippuden.

You can play the 1st Ninja Storm game after the Original Naruto. There would be no spoilers that way. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Guys let me help you; from ep 89-96 is part of the arc, then from 97 to 106 is filler. Ep 107-135 is the next arc. After that it is ALL filler. So you have some ways to go.

You guys should watch the Naruto movies after you complete the first part. I believe there's 4 of them. The shippuden movies are placed differently so I'd say once you make it about 250 or 300 episodes through shippuden you can watch up to movie 5 or 6 for shippuden and then finish it before you watch movie 7 and boruto the movie Naruto part 1 movies in order 1.
