Hey everyone 👋

A few of you have reached out recently asking how to get involved in the dev side of The Hidden Gaming Lair — and I absolutely love that. I spent 2½ years working as a web dev coach, so I genuinely enjoy mentoring others, sharing how things work, and building cool things together.

So here’s some exciting news:

I’m opening up limited contributor access to the THGL codebase — not just for browsing, but for people who want to actively contribute to the project itself.

This isn’t an open-source project — the code is private and all rights are reserved — but if you're someone I trust, I’ll be happy to walk you through the structure, explain the architecture, and work with you directly on real features used by the community.

🛠️ What You Could Work On

Here are some of the areas you might contribute to:

Web apps using Next.js, Vite, Bun, and TypeScript
The Discord bot that powers release notes and in-app updates
The Windows Companion App, built with C++ (DirectX overlay + WebView2)

Some more sensitive areas — like data mining and memory reading — will remain private for now, but I may open them up to long-term contributors I trust.

A short message about your experience
A link to your GitHub profile
What parts of the project you’re most excited about (frontend, overlays, bots, etc.)

This isn’t a paid role, but I’m looking for motivated contributors who want to get hands-on, learn, and help shape a real platform that’s live and growing.

If you’re working on your own (non-competing) app idea, I might even support it with a custom *.th.gl subdomain or Companion App integration.
