May Updates - some exciting things happening :)

Gosh I can't believe we're into May already!!! 

You'll have seen that I've already started to upload the tiger tutorial - that should all be finished in the next couple of days for you all to enjoy - it's certainly turning out to be a favourite of mine to draw :) 

I will be working on the gorgeous drum horse some more and I’d like to do a speed draw of a little terrier across all tiers, (I'll be adding a date today with the info), upload my video about the Holbein pencils I know you’ve all be hankering after, and of course Art Club, Q&A and critiques.

But what I really want to let you in on is what I’ve been working on over the last few months, it’s gone from a thought, to a plan, to a blimey this is actually going to happen lol!

I’ve been a creator on Patreon for a couple of years now, and it has been amazing! I have managed to surround myself with all you lovely wonderful people who have supported me, grown with me and hopefully have developed your own skills. I know things haven’t been easy - I more than anyone know how challenging the platform can be to find things, and it’s never particularly user friendly.

So I’ve been thinking - how can I make things better for you, how can I create something that is easy to navigate, that you can map your progress, that you can work on beginner videos not randomly, but really follow a path to success, where you can start to build confidence and self belief and, if that's the route you want to go down, your art business, and where you can get more of me - you know how much I love the interaction and the live streams and live draws!

So, I want to share with you now, before anything concrete is put into place - I am creating the Bonny Snowdon Academy! I get so frustrated that people can’t find the tutorials they want, that new beginner members join and then are totally confused as to where to start and that I don’t have the ability to add everyone into the Art Club. Even with the membership area it's still pretty confusing.

It’s still in its infancy, I’m hoping to launch in the next few months and it’s going to give you everything I’ve tried to give in Patreon but just haven’t had the ability due to the platform limitations.

I’m so excited about it - I’m sure you can imagine lol! It won't be a replacement of Patreon, that will stay as it is, but I'm hoping that some of you may want to join me as founding members becoming a member of a membership that is more intuitive, is user friendly and gives you more of what you actually want, more live sessions, confidence sessions, social media drop in sessions and health checks, plus with access to everything you had on Patreon too.

I'd love to know if you'd be interested, plus if you have any things you feel are missing and you'd like to have. I will be sending out a very short survey over the next week so i can really work out what people like and don't like - it's so important to me that I give you what you want and I like to feel I do listen to you and take action :)
