Black and White Cat - Focus - Update
Added 2021-03-04 21:39:47 +0000 UTCSo I've made an executive decision to create this video as a techniques and when things go horribly wrong and how to rectify them, video.
The eyes I will create a focus video for on their own - they're really lovely to draw actually with some gorgeous colours, so if you want to practice your eyes that would be a good one.
The Black and white bits I will share clips of the video and how I've created the dense black, with my thoughts on the fabriano Artistico 640gsm, and I'll share the techniques I've used for white over black - some work well, some don't.
So the tutorial will be a more informative one rather than a step by step draw along with me.
I'm not bailing out (honestly lol!) I just feel this drawing has turned into something different to what I'd planned, and I feel this route of informative would be a good one - plus it's going to include when things go wrong, when do you admit defeat and when do you find ways of pulling it back from the brink.
So I'll edit the eyes now and hopefully have that updated shortly, and will then pull all the other bits into one video for you.
I'd totally forgotten the lovely little Hemmingway pony looking over the stable door as well - so I need to work on him too at some point :)
