Tree Frogs - Part 1 Fabriano Artistico

I had a lot of fun with this one - it took a little while to get the techniques right and the colours right. I started using the Icarus board part way - and found that it was by far the easiest way of getting rich colour onto Fabriano.
You don't have to use heat, and you don't have to spend a lot of money on an icarus board, you can buy a reptile or seedling heat pad with thermometer which do exactly the same thing.
I've used only luminance for this one due to their softness - prismas will also work incredibly well - the oil based pencils will melt but not like the wax ones.

I’ve ordered a seedling mat but was wondering if you thought it would work ok with the 300/640 Fabriano Artistico hot press or will it be too thick? I usually use it as opposed to the 140/300. I’ll give it a shot and if it doesn’t work I have some Arches I can use I believe!
