Beginner's Dog Noses - Jonsey and Wyatt, Pastelmat
Added 2020-12-14 07:42:19 +0000 UTCI know many of you have asked if I could create the nose to go along with Jonsey's eye and ear, it's quite a complicated little nose as it's very dark and point down.
So I've created it for you, on the same dark grey pastelmat, and have also included Wyatt's nose - a golden retriever I've just created as a commission. Wyatt's nose is from a poor reference, but what's good about it is that you can still see the shaping and the tones, even if you can't see sharp details. And if you're hoping to do commissions in the future, then knowing how to work with poor photos will be a bonus :)
I've attached two ref photos, a lightened on so we can see the details, and the original.
The line arts are now digital and much simpler, you may wish to create your own from the reference photo.
