I'm creating prints of the two cats, and whilst I was scanning them this morning I thought I'd video the process and show you how I scan flat (no contrast so the scanner picks up highlights and shadows) and then retouch in photoshop.

OMG Bonny, that whole video was just another language for me. I'm terrified of all this stuff, I simply do not have time to do commissions and "learn" all this technical stuff. It really worries me. Even more so when I see all the other comments from people everywhere saying thank you that was so helpful. I don't have a working background. I battled and survived a brain tumour and have basically been living with the battle wounds, so my computer knowledge and skill is really bad. I love my work and I even registered a business name, but I'm struggling to even put my business facebook page together hhmmm.... ;(

I soooo need this right now - thanks Bonny! Was told today I've been accepted with a bunch of artists and crafters to have prints, coasters, etc. sold at an art takeover shop in Reading town centre from October (eek!), so I *really* need to get my finger out and research all this. If it goes pear-shaped, everyone will be getting a mug :)
