Man, I would love to see the "wide grandad" clip in the public video

Def think this extended cut works better. Still allows for the narrative of the video with all that behind the scene goodies. Also removes (I assume) footage that wasn’t really interesting. Rather than just all the raw footage.

so, seeing as Tom spent a lot of work on those cards, why not use them for something else? this may be a bad idea, but you could turn them into little infomercials to normalize talking about depression. you have easily digestible information, verified by a mental health expert, a reference image and a balanced selection of positive and negative sides. You could now take 3 positive and 3 negative cards and alternate between each (start with a negative and end with a positive thing), animate the situation described as a looping asdf cartoon to stay on brand, add voiceover and you'd have a video. again, you should check with actual experts to see if it would be a good idea first, but that way you'd normalise talking about it, have easily understandable information, could potentially invite people for a guest voiceover to promote it and have a regular upload time/video length to please the algorithm. All in all, this was probably the episode I enjoyed the most up to now

I really enjoyed this ep! Great idea to make your own games! Also, I really felt for Elliot. I've had that happen to me and it's a very unpleasant feeling. Like, knowing that you messed something up, regardless of how minor, and feeling that deep inside and it just not helping when others say you did a good job. Not pleasant. Hope you're feeling a bit better, Elliot! You're a good egg! You're all good eggs and ya made a good games!

Not to be down on Elliot's effort more than he was down on himself, but I think the diagram at 20:59 seems to show that most of the matchups would be "nothing happens" from the get-go without needing to discover it during the playtest. :D

Alright, this is amazing. Fine ideas all round, but "depression" is an absolute banger of a game, I would honestly buy that. As a few people mentioned before, there are a couple of problems with the sound in the first hour, the most noticeable one at ~43:40, maybe a few seconds earlier. Unfortunately, I didn't think to write down the timestamps for all of them. Elliot, I don't envy your job of cutting this down to 20-30 minutes, good luck buddy.

I like having the extended raw footage - I prefer the end product naturally, but seeing the whole of the try without snappy editing [great job so far Elliott!] feels more intimate.
