August's Tutorials
Added 2020-07-19 13:15:50 +0000 UTCI've just finished my latest commission piece so am prepping for August's tutorials.
$10 TIER: The baby elephant was the clear winner for the main tutorial, so we will be doing him/her :) I honestly don't know what paper I'll use I need to really think about it - I may even use a toned paper for her (let's call her Nelly❤) I've just googled her and she's actually called Riva Hi Way - so that's what we'll call her :)
$5 TIER: The little lion cub I though would make a great focus tutorial, the eyes and hair around the eyes and nose - and I think I'm going to go with smooth paper for this one, maybe even the new lightfast paper (although don't worry the techniques will be the same for any smooth paper so you won't need to invest in any).
Beginners video: I mentioned a while ago about creating a video around development, and I think that's what I'm going to do for the beginner video in August. Really talking about what you can do to help your development, some techniques, some clips of different pieces I've drawn previously that will really help with developing your pencil techniques :)
