Added 2020-07-12 17:26:35 +0000 UTCI think I've confused things lol! With Vimeo, you watch via Patreon. I think that's the privacy thing - there's no way to watch anywhere else or download etc.
Edited to say I don’t ever want people to have a poor viewing experience, so I may just go back to YouTube if it’s causing issues.
Hi all, I know some of you have already commented about my move to using Vimeo rather than Youtube. This was quite a big decision to make as it has cost me quite a bit to move to Vimeo as YouTube is free.
The reason I am trialing Vimeo is because YouTube is not secure, even though my videos aren't public, it is still possible for people to get hold of them without being a member of Patreon.
The Vimeo app is available to download on your TV so that you can watch the videos as you would on Youtube. I'm still learning how to use it and making sure the settings I'm using are correct.
If it causes huge issues then I will revert back to YouTube, but it is worrying that my exclusive video content can be accessed, it's a real shame that YouTube doesn't add in a security feature.
Anyway I do hope you're all OK with this :)

I know it's a pain, but I can't have my exclusive videos on a site where they can be shared freely sadly.

The are exclusive, and using youtube meant that people could potentially download them, share the link etc which meant that people were getting exclusive content that you were paying for for free.
