Barn Owl Part 1

Part one of the the lovely barn owl. Hi res image and line art attached plus the materials list. I used an A3 piece of paper, but you can do him whatever size you want. The paper I've used is smooth, so any smooth paper will work, plus of course pastelmat - I would say the techniques would be very different on drafting film so if you want to use that you will have to tweak.

HI Eileen - the strathmore toned grey is a very thin paper so just be careful, you will also find the the layering doesn't work the same way so you might struggle to the get amount of layers in. Colours should be ok but the lighter colours may look a little duller.

Eileen I am about to start the barrn owl. I would like to use Strathmore toned gray medium, would I have to change the colours used. Thanks Bonny
