Strategy workshop in London

Some of you may be aware, some not, that I worked in leadership and management for a few years, and helped businesses and individuals with motivation and improved production.

One of my favourite workshops was the strategy planning - so I translated what I used to do for telecoms companies into something for artists.

With the help of the amazing Vicki Evans, you may remember her feather video, I organised a workshop in the most amazing venue right on the Royal Victoria Docks in London - Excel centre to the left and the O2 to the right!

In the company of 12 incredible artists, we had two days of digging deep, working on self belief, motivation and the most important thing - a plan for the future.

I just wanted to share with you the kinds of things we did as I'm hoping to create something similar for my Patrons.

Rather than jumping straight into planning for the future, people needed to feel excited and motivated - what better way to create a vision board when you're feeling amazing about what you are going to do.

There are loads of creative exercises that get you really thinking about who you are and most importantly how amazing you are - self belief is huge, and many many artists lack this, comparing themselves to others, and forgetting or not believing that what they are doing is just as good, or that they are just at a different part of their journey.

I'm sharing a link to one of the last exercises we did - I asked everyone to create an artist's bio, but one that describes the artists - you - for when you have reached your goal. These were incredibly inspiring, everyone's was different, from retirement to being a wildlife artist in huge demand. The link I'm sharing is of our very own Vicki and Pearl, who decided to take things down a slightly different route - it really was hilarious and I do hope you enjoy it :) Listen out for the letters after my name!!!!
