Image preparation
Added 2019-08-13 16:20:30 +0000 UTCI just thought I’d share this quick video showing how I prepare pics before I make a start on drawing them. This one is a bit different as it’s going to be a dramatic white on black piece. It’s from a photo with permission from daydream art and photography. She gave me the raw file and I’ve just used photoshop to create the black background and dramatic contrast. This is how I used to use photoshop when I was working in repro. I’m sure there are quicker ways, but I find this way tried and tested, I get good clean lines and don’t have to faff about. I’ll be starting this one tomorrow and it’ll be a tutorial in September 😊
