This is actually a really fab tutorial! I've taught it three times now, and it works beautifully. It's very simple, you only need a few colours, and actually you could get away with just using black and white. You don't need a line drawing for this one - it's all freehand :0
Word of warning - set yourself an expectation that the initial layers will look absolutely awful lol! But the end result is fabulous :)
I'm attaching the image ref, which is a close up of my dog Slipper's fur, and a pdf document that lists the pencils used, the size and the support.
I added masking tape to mine, and it was so satisfying when I took the tape off at the end.
Have fun with this one - it's only an hour and a bit long, but you learn so much.
Oh - one last thing - the audio in this is a bit suspect - I'm so sorry - I'm quite technical, but when it comes to microphones I have a bit of an issue I don't know why. there is an echo, but I will re record it at some point.
