Good morning, loves! It is Monday again. Time to grab the week, right? Favourite mug on my desk, favourite pen on the ready, and a new BuJo layout in the works.
For those keeping track, I didn't take on Zyra yet. I realised I still need some work with my Cho. You see, people love glacial Cho, but I'm not having a lot of love with him. I like playing mid, but don't want to go AP Cho. I really want to stick with my tank Cho. I mostly like Cho because.. well.. he gets BIGGER as he eats things. It's fantastic motivation.
For those wondering... I have found that this style of game completely works with my over-active brain. You can't half-ass it. So for that 30 minutes or so my entire thought process is on what's happening in the game and it's a welcome break in an unique way. I don't see myself ever being able to play for hours, but unlike never-ending Civ (okay, some end, but some are slooooow) or games of that nature, it is 30 minutes of intense play and *bam* done. Yesterday, I had someone trash talk me with a comment of "imagine missing that combo!" and it was hilarious because I'm sure they think that I'm a teen/early adult dude.
Post-pandemic land may see me no longer indulging my newfound hobby of being a void monster. We'll see. My other game play includes a draft/cube pick MtG tournament. I haven't put together a deck in ages and it's going to be made even more interesting by having a smaller pool to choose from for it. The owner of the magic cards literally has almost every single magic card made. It's unbelievable. I'm doing a spearmint deck. I'm not actually a gamer-type by any stretch of the imagination, I'm simply surrounded by them and pulled into their activities.
Hope you all have a wonderful Monday. It's my usual zero-the-inbox routine so you'll likely be hearing from me throughout the day.
