*EARLY ACCESS* Black Clover: Season 1 Episodes 1, 2 and 3 Reaction

THE RIVALRY BETWEEN BROTHERS, ASTA RECEIVES HIS GRIMOIRE AND BEGINS HIS TRAINING! In a flashback, baby orphans Yuno and Asta are delivered to a priest for him to look after. In present times, the grown up boys who are now fifteen years of age are competing against each other for the position to become the Wizard King. However, Asta is constantly belittled and laughed at by the other orphans due to his inability to cast any magic excluding Sister Lily who has been supporting both brothers. When the boys enter the Grimoire Acceptance Ceremony which is held for every fifteen year old mage, Yuno receives the four leaf clover grimoire which is said to be the grimoire that the first Wizard King had which instantly makes him a favourite among the public. However, Asta does not receive a grimoire which again disappoints him but doesn't make him shy from publicly stating that he's Yuno's rival in becoming the Wizard King. Later on, an ex Magic Knight called Revchi decides to steal Yuno's four leaf clover grimoire and restrains him with chain magic. However before he could escape with the grimoire, Asta interferes and tries to fight Revchi who makes fun of him for not having any magical gifts. Therefore, Asta easily loses in the fight and his confidence is diminished until Yuno acknowledges him as his rival. Asta's confidence is restored and a five leaf clover grimoire is revealed before him with a giant sword. 

In a flashback, Yuno and Asta are seen as younger children. Yuno cries after accidentally tripping as they make their way to the top. Once at the top, Asta obsessively asks Sister Lily to marry him to which she keeps rejecting. She then tells Yuno and Asta the story of the Wizard King who defeated the three eyed monster and brought peace into Clover Kingdom. Asta tries to practise using magic only to find that he has no magic despite his ultimate desire to become the Wizard King. Father chooses Yuno to deliver a letter. As Yuno is on his way to deliver this letter, a thief attacks him to steal his necklace only for Asta to protect Yuno from him. The thief beats up Asta but eventually runs away empty handed due to Asta's courage to fight back. In another flashback, a three eyed monster destroys a city and the first Wizard King arrives and defeats this monster using his four leaf clover grimoire. In the present, Asta continues to train by trying to cut down a tree with his sword but to no success whereas, Yuno successfully casts magic to cut down trees and shatter rocks. Both boys are training so hard to enter the Magic Knights Entrance Exam which is the first step on the journey to become the Wizard King. Asta later improves and manages to cut down trees with his sword. The boys then leave the church and orphanage to head to the Royal Capital which is where the exam will be held.
