*EARLY ACCESS* Cowboy Bebop Season 1 Episodes 1, 2 and 3 Reaction

THE RED EYED COYOTE, CHASING AFTER HAKIM AND THE POKER CHIP! Spike Spiegal and his partner Jet Black are bounty hunters who are trying to track down Asimov Solensan who killed his own crime syndicate using a deadly drug called Bloody Eye. So the duo head to the Tijuana asteroid colony whilst Asimov and his wife Katerina who is faking a pregnancy to hide all the drugs they stole are ambushed at a bar although Asimov manages to kill them all using the Bloody Eye drug which enhances his agility, speed and strength. Later, Spike stumbles upon Katerina and almost gets killed by Asimov until Katerina stops him although Spike manages to steal a Bloody Eye vial from him before they escape. Spike stages a drug deal and confronts Asimov with the stolen drug and they both engage in a fight before he escapes again with Katerina due to his former syndicate chasing after him too. Whilst Asimov and Katerina are flying away on their ship, Asimov uses another Bloody Eye despite its effects being very dangerous so Katerina shoots him before Spike could get to them. Their ship gets destroyed completely by the police cruisers chasing after them. In the next episode, Spike and Jet’s next bounty is to track down Abdul Hakim who is wanted for stealing a valuable lab dog. However, Hakim has changed his physical appearance via plastic surgery to avoid capture. Hakim is keeping the lab dog in a suitcase but the suitcase gets stolen and the thief attempts to sell the dog at a pet store only to be held at gun point by Spike who assumes that he’s Hakim. Hakim attempts to get the dog back but the dog escapes and Spike and the group of scientists who had illegally experimented on the dog chase after him. Spike loses Hakim but finds the dog accompanying him so he brings it back to the Bebop despite not liking dogs. Jet puts a collar tracking device on the dog in case Hakim captures him so Spike tries to lure Hakim in using the dog. 

However, the scientists activate a dog whistle to find their data dog so the dog runs away from Spike. This also grabs the attention of other dogs in the area and Hakim manages to grab the dog. So Spike and the scientists chase after him in their respective vehicles and the dog escapes again. Spike catches him and the scientists’ vehicle crashes with Hakim’s vehicle near a police station only for all of them to be finally arrested. Hakim turns himself in and the dog is now owned by Spike and living in the Bebop. In the third episode, Faye Valentine walks into a shop only to be ambushed by a group of thugs whom she shoots using her guns. However, they outnumber and capture her and she is brought to Gordon who is a criminal casino owner. He offers to pay her debts if she helps him with a staged illegal business transaction that involves Faye’s talents in gambling and cheating. Meanwhile, Spike and Jet head to Gordon’s casino for a bit of money and Spike sits at a blackjack table with Faye as the dealer. Faye is told by Gordon that a man that looks like Spike will at the end of the game give her his last chip however, Spike doesn’t give it to her so she chases after him, for it. However, Spike clashes with a man that looks like him and swaps chips with him, which is the chip Gordon really wanted. Faye runs away as a group of casino thugs approach Spike and Spike beats them up. Faye escapes using her zipcraft but Spike and Jet catch up to her whilst Gordon is angry in having the fake chip from Spike’s lookalike. Faye is handcuffed in the toilet at the Bebop whilst Spike and Jet interrogate her. She tells them that if Spike gives Gordon the chip he has then he will pay for Jet’s lost winnings. The pair don’t believe her and leave her in the toilet so Faye contacts Gordon of her whereabouts. Learning from the TV show Big Shot, Spike and Jet find out that Faye is worth 6 million Woolongs and decide to turn her over to the Police. Jet finds out that the poker chip actually has a computer chip inside. Then, the ship is rocked by collision with Gordon’s ship and Gordon makes a deal to give 30 million Woolongs for the poker chip. Spike wears his space suit and heads to Gordon’s ship and a man appears with a suitcase of 30 million Woolongs. Spike throws the chip to him and the man pulls out a gun but Spike dodges on time and knocks his gun away before flying him out of space. He then, catches the chip he tossed whilst Faye escapes from her handcuffs only to later be spotted by Ein. She takes the suitcase and Gordon’s ship shoots missiles towards her ship only for them to backfire and his ship gets destroyed.
