*EARLY ACCESS* The Walking Dead Season 1 Episode 5 Reaction

AMY'S BURIAL, JIM GETS INFECTED AND THE SURVIVORS HEAD TO THE CDC! Wow, this was a really sad but good episode too. After the devastating walker attack at the camp, Andrea spends the night watching over her dead little sister Amy who got bitten and killed in the attack. In the morning, she still sits beside her and the other survivors talk amongst themselves about Amy's burial and about whether to kill Amy now before she turns into a walker. Meanwhile, the others are burning the zombies and burying the dead whilst Jim reluctantly reveals to the others that he got bitten. Daryl tries to kill the infected Jim but Rick and Shane stop him. Rick tells the other survivors that he heard that there was a cure that is still being made so he plans to head to the CDC to save Jim. Shane objects saying that there's no guarantee that anyone is in the CDC nor that there is any cure for Jim's infection. Shane tries to tell Lori to convince Rick that this is a bad idea but she agrees with Rick. Rick and Shane discuss the plan and Shane almost gives in to his inner demons of aiming a gun at Rick's head for ruining his relationship with Lori until Dale spots him doing so preventing him from shooting Rick. The survivors depart the camp with Rick telling Morgan through the radio that Atlanta is not safe anymore and also, leaves a note behind in case he does come this way. Rick hopes to reunite with Morgan and his son. Meanwhile, some of the survivors try to take care of Jim who increasingly gets worse as they ride to the CDC. Jim becomes very frail and tells Rick to leave him behind letting him know that it's his decision, not Rick's. So the survivors leave Jim behind.

Meanwhile, at the CDC, the only scientist called Jenner is currently working on a cure for the walker virus by testing on a sample of a walker's dead flesh. However, he becomes contaminated with a dangerous liquid making him take a disinfecting shower however, the system conducts a full decontamination by blowing up the whole laboratory. Jenner is deeply disheartened after this as all the samples and tests were destroyed. However, the survivors arrive near the CDC, walking passed the massacre of dead bodies everywhere and Rick tries to open the door to the CDC. The others believe that they just arrived at a dead end and beg Rick that they must depart before they get killed by the walkers approaching them but Rick shouts at the CCTV camera begging anyone watching to let them in. Jenner watches the CCTV footage and finally, lets them in.
