THE WALKING DEAD: SEASON 1 EPISODE 4 REACTION

RESCUING GLENN, THE NURSING HOME AND AMY'S TRAGIC DEATH! Omg, I can't believe they killed off Amy...and Ed already. Andrea and Amy start fishing together for the whole crew and reminisce how their father taught them fishing and worrying about whether they made it safe from the walkers. Meanwhile, Rick, Glenn, T-Dog and Daryl continue their search for Merle after finding his severed hand in the roof of a building. They believe that he couldn't have gone too far, following the trail of blood he left behind which leads them to a room of dead walkers which Merle killed and a bunch of gas lighters suggesting that Merle cauterised his own stump. Glenn begins drawing a plan of how to obtain the bag of guns without alerting the walkers with him being the one to grab them with Daryl right behind him. At the survivor's camp, the crew worry for Jim who is digging up holes for apparently no reason so Shane questions him about it. Jim replies in a hostile manner and claims he forgot the reason why he is doing this. Jim acts aggressively leading to Shane restraining him until he learns to act nicely towards everyone. It turns out that Jim is simply grieving over the loss of his wife and child who both got killed by the walkers right in front of him, this particularly horrifies Lori and he tells her to keep her son with her at all times. 

Meanwhile, Rick and his teammates follow through with their plan of obtaining the bag of guns, which is still lying in the middle of the street. Glenn manages to obtain the bag of guns but is then abducted after Daryl interrogates a young Latino boy who shouts for backup which leads to Glenn getting taken away. Daryl particularly gets frustrated with this and starts interrogating the young Latino boy who made this happen. Rick calmly asks if they can speak to his boss and work out a deal so the young Latino boy takes them to his crew members. Rick meets Guillermo who doesn't agree with the trade of the young Latino boy for Glenn and proposes the deal of obtaining the bag of guns instead if they wish Glenn to be returned. However, Rick and his crew return locked and loaded with guns refusing to cooperate with the deal. Although, one of the crew member's grandma approaches Rick saying that one of the elders needs his inhaler as he's having an Asthma attack. It turns out that this gang are in fact elderly care takers managing their own nursing home with Glenn simply helping out as they're running out of resources. Rick decides to give half of the guns to Guillermo knowing that the nursing home needs its security and Glenn is returned unharmed. However, on their way back to the van, it's stolen by Merle who may be getting his revenge back at the camp so they hurry on foot. Back at the camp, the survivors eat fried fish together with Jim now joining in. However, after Amy decides to go to the toilet, the beaten up Ed is the first victim who gets killed by a walker leading to a whole swarm of walkers killing some of the survivors of the camp. Shane immediately gets his gun shooting the walkers whilst Amy gets bit both on her arm and in the neck. Andrea hurries to get to Amy who dies in her arms. Everyone becomes extremely distressed by this horrific event and Rick and his crew arrive halfway through to kill the remaining walkers. Jeez, what an intense last five minutes...
