*HUGE EARLY ACCESS ANNOUNCEMENT* What is my upcoming Novel 'The Fire Gauntlet' about?
Added 2018-05-02 21:55:05 +0000 UTCIf you didn't know already, I'm currently outlining my Novel and planning to start writing it sometime this month so that in the summer, you guys (Patrons get EARLY ACCESS) can finally read the first drafts and beta-read them if you wish. I wanted to share a teaser description of what roughly happens in the very first few chapters so to you it may sound a bit spoilery but trust me, there's SO MUCH MORE to this Novel than what is in the description below and it's just to give you an idea of what to expect in the Novel too. Also, this is just a rough first draft of the premise so it's going to sound pretty bad but I tried my best so here it is....
The working title for my Novel is 'The Fire Gauntlet' although this could change later on. This is a Young Adult Fantasy Adventure Novel.
My Novel is about a teenage boy called Solar Apollon who has the power to wield all the elements but he must keep it a secret from everyone excluding his Guardian. However, after setting half of his school on fire due to losing control, Solar develops Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and is threatened by the school bully to expose his secrets on camera. Although, during a school trip to visit a famous gemstone mine, Solar finds a magical portal that takes him to another world where he witnesses an awful crime of a masked man transforming normal humans into more aggressive beings with superhuman abilities. Solar must find out who this masked man is and stop him from experimenting on anyone else.

It reminds me of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, which is always a plus in my book, but with more of a fairy tale like structure. Of course it sounds like you are taking it in a different direction so it'll probably be totally different, which is good since I like to be surprised. Given the brief summary I am definitely say I'm intrigued.
