November 2019 Update - Good News and Bad News
Added 2019-11-20 13:59:41 +0000 UTCAnother month, another missed update day and Tier reveal, but this time there's reason this time.
The bad news is, after some reflection on the team and the scope of the project, I have come to realize that the team does not have the drive or resources to work on Tierwach. We've been struggling with that since the last year of Pokemorph. Talking with the team the last two days has made me realize that.
Are we going to continue working on Tierwach? Absolutely. We'll still be making the lore, art, etc. But until our engine is finished, we can't do anything more than that. Because this isn't a paying gig, our programmer has to work on the engine in his spare time which will be sparse for the next 2 months. Work will be nearly non-existent on it in that time.
So where it stands, Tierwach has to be put on the back burner until our engine is done and we have more resources to work with. We're still going through with world building for it, we just have no ETA of when it's going to be ready to be constructed.
BUT! There's good news!
In order to help pull in the resources we need and gather more support to let us continue going full throttle with Tierwach, we're starting up a project with a much smaller scope and more sustainable progress. It'll also be a return to our roots of making adult parody games.
The short version is you'll be a Bounty Hunter that will be sent to different universes to capture fighters for a Collective and build your own team (or harem) of well known characters. The objective of the game will be to buy into the grand tournament and take over the collective.
We'll be doing a bigger reveal with far more details by this weekend. Patrons will also be part of the creative process, so stay tuned for that as well.
For all of those who have been supporting us and have been patiently waiting for Tierwach, you have our sincerest apologies. We hate having to set Tierwach as a side project for the time being. We just don't have the support and assets we need to bring it into existence yet. Again, we're hoping this smaller project will greatly assist with that.
As always, we greatly appreciate each of you and thank you for your continued support, patience and understanding.
