Well, at least welcome to the region of Eisenheim where the first part of the game will be taking place. This is a beta map. We'll likely add another town or two as well as several more key places of interest.
Eisenheim is the far west region of a massive, six country region. The others will be revealed later on. It is a military dictatorship led by Führer Johann Kronig, a benevolent and just leader who is beloved by his people and diligently works to bring the war to a final end, not just for his country but for all of Ather.
Eisenheim is a militaristic nation where everyone is expected to serve in the army after completing their secondary education but before entering the workforce. They generally serve 2 to 5 years with only 25% making it a career. Once in the military they are given two occupations, one for military training and one for civilian life. They're also expected to maintain their training so that in the event a draft occurs the nation can have a standing military within a few days.
