Very important, please, read this

Greetings, dear followers and patrons,

We must inform you and remind again, our Patreon was not created for business and selling artworks. It's all about support from those who appreciate our art but also available to express their admiration through some material support.

Like if you can't do it, that's alright. We mean, if you help—perfect, if you can't — still good. Moral support is also very important to us because our art is not about style, it's about the idea.

And all we wish for is honesty. 

I'm not happy about telling you this, but I should, because I want other's artist privacy and safety too.

Recently we were a bit disappointed when some person deluded us by first joining our page, consequently copying our works, and then declining the pledge. Unhappily she did that and such case is not once, cause that lady still didn't paid even for commission which my sister Deva made for her almost 4 years ago (in 2016)!

She promised to give 40$ for the portrait of a 'red haired eunuch'. She received the final HQ  artwork (I trusted enough) but  she ignored to pay. After that I have lost everything for her. However, again, that lady asked about our works and joined Patreon saying she wants our trust back, calling us "friends". Swearing she'll pay everything to the last cent... but obviously the way she jumps from tier to another and in the end declined— it shows the truth.

Money is not the case at all. The case is cheating, lying and broken promise.

I negotiated the commission, but I still don't demand the pay even for such cheating! I was expecting at least honesty in the new time... so naive.

Now I have to warn you all, about the type of people who can make you believe they are your friend and well-wisher, but eventually they will just turn to be not who they were  told to be. 

I try to forgive and forget the person, but I don't forget the fact that it happened, just in order so I don't persist on the mistaking. There were even cases when I made 20 paintings, and didn't get a single penny! Moreover I got insulted by the deceiver, the one who used my skills to satisfy his fancy. I tolerated that as well. After all I have nothing to say about such people, and nothing to do with them anymore.

Except something I have for them is distrust. Because no one wants to waste energy, nerves, time, health and own resources for nothing. Either people treat each other well, or they choose not to fill life of each other with negativity and headache.

I hope, our dear watchers, readers and followers, you do understand. When we create works, of course we have to pay bills for everything: electricity, equipment (computer, graphic tablet, etc.), house rent. For example we can choose between doing a single commission for USA or Japan customers from 200-500$, or drawing many paintings for online galleries and get like 120$ for 6 months? But monthly we pay 50$ only for electricity! A lot more goes to personal needs like food, clothes and moving. Of course it's reasonable why we need either to hard work on commissions or ask for support of our art.

For that reason the answer is logical, for question why the price of our works is comparatively expensive? Because we put a lot of efforts in what we do.

I'll say it again, so that if ever people think we set the high price just for an artwork, they don't have to pay it. There are thousands of painters who for 2-4$ can draw anything you want and wish for. I mean, that's reasonable.

It's just so simple to understand, that people who have little funds can join the first tier, people who have more funds and eager to get more from us (painting steps, video process, brushes and etc.) can choose further tiers. But that's all up to you, we don't demand anything and neither you.

• 2) We DON'T do commissions here. For commissions visit the private message inbox and it will be discussed besides Patreon.
• 3) Our page is only for Love and Peace.

 We—Develv have created and still keep this Patreon page insofar as we'd like to share what makes us feel alive: creating art and helping others to broaden the understanding of non-binary gender in history and mythology, aesthetics of beauty and boundless horizons of other worlds.
