While he may not be the first who explore the world of Vtuber, he is certainly a key factor to make Vtuber into its popularity today.
Yagoo's past is also very interesting. He had failed in many things over and over again until he tried his luck in Vtuber industry. Yagoo, his staffs, and the talents are all struggle to keep everything stable until everything turned a lot much in their favor. While their success might not be perfect, it is something we all should celebrate and remember by.
There is no tell what will happen if Yagoo did not found his company in Vtuber nor would it be in the future. For now, Yagoo is a very important person in Hololive/Holostars. For he can bring a lot of joy, meme and marketing material and is no doubt a very successful man in both virtual and real world.
