I like your rationalization behind the actor's change!

2025-09-03 17:29:19 +0000 UTCI must admit, that I kinda interpret Ae-Sun and Gwan-Sik changing physically so much (therefor changing the actors), due to the hard working life they had and the tragedy that happend to them. I noticed myself that, people who suffered a harsh life, tended to kinda age faster than most of us do today, also because most of us don't work in the field or the streets anymore, have amazing and affordable skin care, etc etc... Maybe I'm just thinking too much into it, but that's how I like to interpret the actor changes. And omg, they are reaaally great! Even IU playing Geum-Miyeon is sooo different from Ae-Sun. I love how the actors embody their characters and make the changes seem so fluid. We would recognise Ae-Sun and Gwan-Sik, even if they didn't call them by name, once the sonewhat older actors appeared. Really really great work!
