Squid Game Season 3 Episode 5 & 6 (FINALE) REACTION & COMMENTARY

Comments

Yea I agree with you that this season was really dark, I'm about to go watch some cute cat videos after this. Nevertheless, I think overall I thought that Gi hun's sacrifice was just his way to prove to the frontman that there is still "hope" in humanity. This ending justified everything that he'd been through, although it wasn't a Happy Ending that everyone would have wanted. The VIPs involvement this season really reminded me of the movie Purge, where one of the rich family wanted to "participate" in the Purge just within the safe boundaries of their home so they paid a huge sum of money to someone to be their martyr.. I wish that Gihun's sacrifice would make the VIPs realise what shitty people they are.. I have a theory that perhaps when he was "killing" Daeho, what he saw wasn't Daeho but he wanted to kill himself instead? Because after he succeeded in killing Dae-ho, he immediately said "It's all my fault". Perhaps, if he had more fear or self-doubt that Dae-ho had last minute, he wouldn't have carried out the rebellion and therefore get a better chance of saving his friend? This season was not the best, but definitely thought-provoking.

It was cool to see an anime on your channel. But I don't think you should make it permanent or even regular. The most popular anime are extremely long and have several hundred episodes. And then for seasonal anime there could be a frustration of seeing the beginning of the anime and not seeing the end because there can be several months or years between certain seasons. This is the case for Bleach, Demon Slayer, Dan da dan etc.... I would say that in my humble opinion. You should only make reactions if you feel the need. - here is one of the scenes that caused controversy in South Korea and that disturbed me. Gi-hun strangled his "friends" Dae-ho "because he blamed him for the failure of his plan. In reality, he killed him only because Dae-ho was afraid. But Gi-hun hesitates to kill a bunch of crazy people who no longer have the slightest drop of humanity. To save not only his life but also that of the baby for sure. In terms of logic, it does not work. Why does he have a vision of Sae-boyk at that moment??? Why didn't he have it before killing Dae-ho????? He is too good to kill a bunch of bastards who want to kill a baby for money. On the other hand, he can kill Dae-ho??? I understand the message (Gi-hun is not a killer at heart) but this awareness is badly brought into the show in my opinion. For me, Gi-hun should have killed them, he is no longer pure, he is no longer innocent. He lost the moral battle with the front man. He should have done everything to maximize the chances of survival of the only innocent person left in the game, the baby. - Min-gyu is an interesting character. I never thought he would be among the last two players. His character is cool because he is ambiguous. He is a crook and probably not someone you can trust. But he is also very attached to Jun-hee. And in his own way, he did everything to protect her and the baby. He has dirty hands, and he has killed a lot of people. But he is the only player who kills for someone else. At the very end, it is hard to really know what he would have done. I don't think he would have killed the baby. If that had been the case, he would have simply done it, but he hesitated. It was his own life or the baby's. and I want to dream that in the end he would have made the same choice as Gi-hun. - damn the speeches of the 5 assholes to justify the murder of the baby drove me crazy. '"I'm a father, I have 2 children at home but we're killing this baby for democracy", or "I'm not a monster, I'm a human being, but this baby is going to steal my money, so we're all going to die. Frankly, I would have killed them in their sleep to allow Gi-hun, Min-gyu, Minsu and the baby to survive. - all the assholes died before the last round. If player 039 hadn't committed suicide, we could have had a pseudo happy ending. There would have been 4 survivors in the game. But in reality, everything led to Gi-hun's sacrifice. All these previous actions are forgiven by his sacrifice. Gi-hun put himself in this situation. He chose to come back in the game. He took the risk but he lost. So he has small victories. If Il-nam was still alive he would have seen that some people are human and that people like Geumja, Jun-hee or Gi_hun sacrificed their lives for a child. But in the end the vast majority of people present in the game were just bad people interested in money. -DG your point of view is interesting I had not seen it like that Min-guy (mc coin as you call him) is ready to sacrifice everything and kill everyone to save Jun-hee then the baby. While Gi-hun even if he lost his humanity by killing Dae-ho. is ready to sacrifice himself to save the baby. And that is precisely the problem of this season. If Gi-hun had not killed Dae-ho his character would be perfect. He would have done everything to preserve life until the end. including the lives of the most detestable people. Min-gyu, for his part, would do anything to preserve those he loves, Jun-hee and the baby. I understand the point of view of the two characters. I think I am a mix of the two men. - at the end, player 236, the father of the girl who has cancer, and the baby survived. It's a fairly satisfying ending because in the end, innocent people survived. But it's also a realistic ending. The world is full of unscrupulous people, money is the source of a lot of problems and tension in the world. And I think that in the end, Il-nam's philosophy or way of thinking has won. Humans, in their vast majority, are a rather nefarious race. Of course, there are good people, people ready to sacrifice themselves for the good. But the majority are greedy or cowardly.
