They are band six that performed with Blackpink. When Big Bang went on hiatus Band Six went to Blackpink... You should watch TOP's performance for Act Like Nothing is Wrong at the same concert. He performed it right before Doom Da Da. Most if not all of Big Bang live performances will always be different from on another even if its the same song haha

2025-03-17 21:50:09 +0000 UTCCoup D'etat is my introduction to trap music, and needless to say I was uh... surprised xD Even as someone who was really into JRock/Visual Kei, I have never seen anything as visually shocking as this before. But over the years I started to appreciate this song when I read more about the message that he's trying to convey, and I really gained so much respect for him as a musician. Also IIRC this song went up the charts again during the whole South Korea martial law controversy last year (along with Crooked), people were joking and saying that GD wrote this song because he predicted the future haha. This rendition of Doom Dada is the best by far, I love it so much! Like seriously I've never seen anyone like TOP who can captivate the audience with minimal effort (movements wise). He could literally stand still like a stickman (which ps he ironically did in a few of his early day live stages because he forgot the dance choreography) and people would still scream LMAO He did say that he plans on releasing new music, so I'm hoping that he will hold a live concert after that because I will literally fork out hundreds of dollars to see him live just based on this performance. IMO the Motte documentary is very insightful but also very emotionally taxing as it documents a period of time where GD was struggling very hard (physically and mentally). It'll be great to check it out, but chronological-wise I also recommend the MADE documentary (with BIGBANG) first like many others have + it's much more light-hearted to get you mentally prepared xD

2025-03-17 06:17:58 +0000 UTCAs a few people have said here, BigBang's MADE The Movie is great, and I would definitely encourage you to watch that before GD's Motte. Both provide great insights into the artist(s) and what goes into their live performances, but I think the tone of MADE with its sense of family (between members, production staff and fans) gives a really good foundation to understand the tone of Motte and really enhances its impact. But whichever you decide to watch is fine, it's your decision and I will watch your reaction regardless. <3
