The historical achievements may be different, but anyway, I was very surprised because he was a historical figure and my progenitor.

Interesting. - Give me an ancient battle scene and I'm in. - Gotta be honest, kinda stupid on the rebel's part to just take off their armor like that. Like, what did they expect to happen? - Can't say I completely understand what's going on but we'll just roll with it. - „You little idiot“ Bro, he was going over a crosswalk. And you just crashed into him on an otherwise empty street. Fuckin car drivers, I swear. - Ooookay, he had someone in the trunk. Fuck him twice then. - The Goblin has come back to haunt you! - The men on that ship are a prime example of fuck around and find out. Always love seeing a good FAFO. - THAT is some proper divine punishment. Damn. - Losing 10 L of blood would be VERY impressive, considering the human body only holds about 5 L 😅 - And death still got her. Only in a much more tragic way... This hurts. - That is a lot to throw onto a nine year old. - So the old woman is some kind of goblin, reaper or spirit as well? - Wait hold up, wtf is Sungjae doing here?? - And Yum Hye-ran again? Jesus, we really can't escape this actress 😂 - Happy fucking birthday I guess. - I'm guessing this is also a story about the curse of immortality. As a fan of Doctor Who I've seen my fair share of that. - As shitty as her situation is, I like her attitude. - I can sense a LOT of pettiness between the Goblin and the Reaper, this ought to be fun 😁 - I was just about to say, it's got to be a real cand- oh a fake digital one works too. Huh. - Quickest „I love you“ in kdrama history? - Yeah, she is pretty young but that also hasn't stopped the 903 year old Doctor from kissing the 19 year old Rose Tyler. I guess it's all just a bit different for immortals. (Still weird ngl) I can already see why this show is so highly praised. Super fun but with epicness and proper depth behind it. I'm very happy to finally watch it :)

2025-02-26 19:01:28 +0000 UTC- after all these very dark dramas have arrived at lighter dramas. the kind of drama based on romance and mysticism. - Goblin is probably one of the most popular dramas of the last 15 years in our country. the audience and the plebicity of the people is almost unanimous. it is a series almost impossible to miss when you want to watch Korean drama. - it is also the series that made Goog-yoo ultra popular even if he had played in several very big successes before Goblin. he became very popular with young girls. - the success of the series also comes from a rather exceptional casting. the actors do an excellent job - this series is a mix between Hotel de luna and the series that I prefer in the genre My roomate is a gumio. it's a kind of drama that includes what many people love about supernatural romances. the kind of impossible love a bit like the supernatural version of romeo and juliet. - the battle scene is the only one in the series it's really a light series based on romance it's even much lighter than Hotel de luna which had a bit of a horror aspect with ghosts. the strength of Goblin is elsewhere. the first episode is the darkest it's just there to set the context of the story. - DG the "prince/king" seems familiar to you because it's Yook sung-jae from BTOB that we saw last week in Busted. - DG there are a lot of historical dramas with big battle scenes. in fact there are even a lot of them there are 10 dramas of the genre that come out each year. here are some of the most popular - Alchemy of soul - Kingdom. ashin of the north - My country - Love in a moonlight - Arthdal chronicles - Gyeonseong creature -Haechi - River where the moon rises -Mr sunshine -Jumong - Rebel thief who stole the people - Moon lovers (with IU) and many many many others

2025-02-26 14:45:19 +0000 UTCI've been wanting to watch this show for a while. A few years ago I watched just the first episode and I never continued. The events in the past when he became the goblin really annoyed me. They threaten to kill his men. He ignores them and goes forward. All his men die. They threaten to kill the beautiful Kim Sohyun and she tells him to go on and he does and they kill her. They threaten to kill all of his female relatives and he goes on and they kill them. But when they threaten his male relatives he decides that's enough. All of those people already died so he could go forward but they don't matter to him. Stopping after almost everyone is already dead is ridiculous. That originally left me stressing out for the rest of the entire episode so I didn't get into the show. Also the goblin's bride being 19 in Korean numbers means that in real people years she's just turned 18 that very day. It's odd watching this show so many years later as I've now seen most of the actors in other things. This show came out before Hotel Del Luna so I'd say that was inspired by this. Also wtf happened to the little boy. I assume that the btob member is the great great descendant of that boy. Also I believe that the grandpa in the current day is the boy from that European village from 1968. Basically the kid swore his entire family lineage to serve the goblin I think. My interpretation of the revenge scene was that his goal was to get revenge on the king so the advisor who was probably pulling the strings wasn't his goal. The dead body covered in cloth I assume was the King's body. Then by the time he got back the old man had already died of old age. I'm very excited to finally watch the rest of this show. I assume it finally one because it's a classic that most kdrama fans seem to have liked so with the multiple choice poll most people are happy with it even if it's not their favorite. With so many options I appreciate the multiple choice setting so I can vote for every show that I would be excited to watch. P.S. it's so weird going back and watching a drama knowing all of the OSTs

2025-02-26 00:54:10 +0000 UTC- "The heist of the century" 😄 As Hannibal would say: "I love it when a plan comes together" 😎 Or, if that's before your time, as Mr. Burns from The Simpsons would say: "Excellent!" 😈 - But, let's not forget it wasn't just me. A lot of other ppl voted for it too, for which I'm grateful 🙏 - Such a great episode, where, like you said, A LOT happened: how the Goblin came to be, we met the Grim Reaper and a bit of how he operates, and we learned about the Goblin's Bride girl and her backstory. Not to mention a lot of other characters too. There was also quite a bit of action. So yeah, fast-paced and great cinematography. BUT iirc, don't expect this from every episode though. - For me, the best part of this series is the chemistry between the Goblin and the Grim Reaper ("what a vulgar hat" 😄) Looking forward to watch this again.

Woo aka the reaper is amazing in everything he does and can also sing too! You should check out Sea of hope it's a program where the cast open a bar and sing his ep has Onew from shinee and Lee Su-hyun from AKMU

Almost ended me. hahahahah I knew you would love this show, the plot is not for everybody but the Cinematography is superb. This is one of my top kdramas. Would be a journey to watch it again with you.!

By the time the Goblin returned to the palace to kill the prick councillor, you saw the scene (34:04 in this video) where he walked up to the platform and said, "I've come too late." The object covered in orange silk cloth was the king's body. - I think you'll enjoy the dynamics between Gong Yoo and Lee Dong-wook, they're close friends IRL and their chemistry really shows in this series! - I really like how you pointed out some of the imagery in this episode (the red light when Eun-Tak's mom was about to die and the green light when she survived), I've never noticed that before! - Maybe it's just me, but on my first watch I mistook Kim Min-jae (the king) for Yeo Jin-goo (aka Koo Chan-sung in Hotel del Luna), they have very similar facial features imo xD

It's like one of these things where you didnt stop watching bc it was bad but stuff just came up and then for some reason I never caught up with this show lol
